Set the shop up

Messages to customers are sent from your own phone, so their replies come straight back to you. The one exception is the extra-work question, which comes from refurbli so the customer's answer is recorded against the job.

Goes on the tickets and job records as who took the phone in. You can add the rest of the shop later, and change this whenever you like.

Scotland licenses second-hand dealers nationally. In England and Wales it is down to your district council — Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire and Newcastle each run their own scheme, and that is not a complete list. If you are not sure, ask your council: dealing while unregistered is an offence.

These print at the top of job sheets, tickets and receipts. Leave any of them out if you like.
